Annual General Meeting
Your presence at this meeting is requested to ensure you have the opportunity to have your say in how the club will run this coming season.
Date: Tuesday 9 February 2016
Location: Proclamation Park, Sylvia Grove, Ringwood
What happens at the AGM?
The AGM is your opportunity to become directly involved in important club decisions. You will be able to vote on important club matters and you may also ask questions of the Executive Committee. A copy of the 2015 Annual Report will also be available to all members on the night.
Fee structure for the 2016 winter season will again be an important issue and the AGM is your opportunity to voice your opinion.
How do nominations for committee positions work?
Any club member can nominate another member for a role on the 2016 committee, however this does not automatically secure them the position.
The nominated club member must first accept the nomination, and then the members present at the AGM must decide which of the nominated candidates are best suited for the role.
lf you have been nominated for a role on the 2016 committee, you should discuss the role with Norm Crebbin or Michael Legg.
NOTE: attendance at the AGM allows you to have a say, it does not mean that you will end up on the club committee.
All positions are vacated each year and nominations are required as follows:

- Vice President
- Junior Co-ordinator
- General Member(s)
Please forward your nominations and/or any General Business items to Michael Legg by:
Mail – PO Box 5157, Heathwood 3134
phone (0402 902 418)
by 1 February 2016.
What should I do if I am unable to attend the AGM?
lf you are unable to attend the Annual General Meeting, you should make your apologies to either Norm Crebbin or Michael Legg. However, we do need to have enough members attend the meeting to ensure the meeting’s legality. Therefore, it is in the best interest of the club that you attend this one-hour meeting to have your say in how the club is run and ensure 2016 gets off to the best possible start.
Other lmportant Pre-season lnformation
The Club is seeking written expressions of interest for any coaching/managing position whether senior or junior. These expressions of interest should set out which senior grade or junior age group you are interested in coaching/managing and should be sent as soon as possible by email.
ln addition we are trying to determine how many senior teams to enter this coming season. Please advise Michael Legg either by SMS or email whether you intend to play this season or not.
