The Ringwood Saints Baseball Club is seeking Expressions of Interest for the position of Club Coach for the 2026 MWBL season and beyond.
The Saints are looking for a person with the passion, drive and experience to take a talented playing squad through to the finals and the ultimate success.
The successful applicant, who could be either a playing or non-playing coach, will have the drive, leadership and communication skills required to realise our shared vision for on field success. The Ringwood Saints Baseball Club is committed to player development, respect, inclusion, and community engagement. The successful applicant will be responsible for fostering and promoting this positive club culture across all programs.
The Club Coach will be accountable for:
- Heading the senior coaching panel and weekly team selections.
- Setting the strategy for all coaches and Senior team managers within the club.
- Coaching and Directing the A Grade 1st team on game day.
- Planning, managing and delivering Senior training sessions.
- Providing support to the club’s junior program as required.
- Regular reporting to the club Board.
The application process will be as follows:
- Please send an email to the Club President expressing interest in the position. The email should detail your key coaching achievements, the knowledge, skills and values that you would bring to the position, and importantly your plan for the playing success of the Club.
- Applicant’s will be shortlisted and interviewed by a subcommittee. All applicants will be treated in the strictest of confidence. Renumeration and conditions of appointment are negotiable.
- The Selection Sub-Committee will provide recommendations to the Club’s Executive Committee for their consideration and decision.
The successful applicant must hold (or be willing to obtain) a valid Working With Children Check and relevant coaching accreditation.
