The Saints have a new member of the 600 Club!
Jonathon ‘Jono’ Rogers has become just the 7th person to play 600 senior games for the Ringwood Saints.
On hand to welcome Jono to the 600 club was father Peter (a Club record 1000+ games), brother Cameron (600+ games)hat was fellow ‘600’ member Aaron Holloway. Also present were brother Cameron (600+ games) and father Peter (a Club record 1000+ games).
Born into the Saints, Jonathon started playing ball as a 9 year old in juniors in 1989. He began playing seniors in 1995 developing into a strong reliable outfielder. He was a mainstay in centre field for our firsts for many years and his explosive speed on the base paths lead to a plethora of stolen bases and runs scored.
Jonathon has also coached within the club at both Junior and Seniors levels while also spending a number of years on the committee in various roles.
‘Jono’s’ contribution both on and off the field has been tremendous and our Baseball Club is forever grateful.
600 games is an amazing achievement. From everyone at the Club – Congratulations Jono and thank you!
