Aaron Holloway – Life Member #23
It is with great pleasure the the Ringwood Saints Baseball Club can announce that Aaron Holloway has been awarded Life Membership after many years of valued service to the Club.
Aaron has been actively involved with the club since joining us as a 17 year old in 1993. At the end of this 2023 winter season he has played 599 senior games for the Club.
On the diamond, he has been a member in a number of senior premierships including 1994 A4, 2008 A4, 2010 B Reserves, 2014 C Grade, 2016 and 2017 A3 teams. As a reliable and steady left hand pitcher he was elected as a relief pitcher in our 1998 – 2007 team of the decade as well as the 50 year team.
Along the way, Aaron has also managed senior teams during the 1999, 2000, 2004, 2008 (A4 Premiership) and 2009 seasons. He has also coached junior teams for 9 years from 2014 through to and including 2023.
Off the field has has also contributed regularly over the years.
- He has been on the Committee for 9 years between 1998 and 2017
- In 2018 he assumed the role of Vice President, a role he has held for the past 6 years
- During these years he has upgraded and maintained our websites and communication channels
- He has been a participant of many working bees
- Acted as umpire for many senior games
- Was on the 50 year anniversary sub-committee in 2017 and 2018
- Has provided designs for Club merchandise, and
- Provided general support when need.
The Committee has no hesitation in bestowing a well deserved Life Membership on Aaron Holloway.
